our story
THE GATHERING IS THE YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY OF NEW HOPE CHAPEL IN PLYMOUTH, MA.
IN JUNE OF 2015, THE GATHERING WAS LAUNCHED WITH 12 PEOPLE MEETING IN NEW HOPE’S CAFE! THIS SMALL BEGINNING GAVE WAY TO A DREAM OF REACHING YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL AND EMPOWERING THEM TO BECOME INFLUENCERS OF THE WORLD.
WE WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVE THAT YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NOT THE CHURCH OF TOMORROW, BUT ARE THE CHURCH OF TODAY. THIS BELIEF HAS SPARKED A MOVEMENT IN PLYMOUTH AND BEYOND AND IS TRULY JUST GETTING STARTED! WE INVITE YOU TO BE A PART OF WHAT GOD IS DOING IN THIS REGION!

CONNECT
The connect team is often the first faces that people see when they visit the Gathering. This means welcoming and greeting, as well hosting. new guests and filling them in on the many ways they can get further connected with us.
CAFE
The cafe team creates an environment for connecting over food.
PRODUCTION
The production team is vital for creating a smooth visual and audible experience for our events through lighting, visuals, set-up/breakdown & sound
CREATIVE
The creative team is responsible for the visual elements required for promoting Gathering events. and culture We do this through the use of photography, videography, apparel design, graphic design & social media.
